I realize it's a promotional picture, but the overall feel of this business class is gorgeous. There's a soothing sense of calm, respectful of Finland design history.

All is quiet in the skies. (image credit: Finnair)

The seat is the Zodiac Cirrus III, which you might have already seen as it's very successful—albeit the angle is different if you're on a A330, 340, B787 or if you're on a B777, 747, A350 (the A380 can have both variants). For instance, you can spot those on Cathay Pacific (B777), American (B777), Delta (B744 and soon A330) and Air France is currently retrofitting its business class with it. Qatar has a similar seat concept too (and I'm sure I'm missing some other airlines here).
The seat was imagined by JPA (check some designs on the website).

The upholstery is also what makes the difference—the choice of colors is here fantastic, in my opinion. Its a creation of Helsinki-based dSign that also did the beautiful new Finnair lounge at HEL (saunas included!).

When will you get the chance to see those? Q3 2015 on Asian routes (Shanghai, Beiking, Bangkok). Finnair has ordered 11 A350 with 8 more as options.

Here's the press release and you can see more pictures on the carrier's gallery page.
